HOW TO CALL A MOBILE OR HOME PHONE

1. DIAL '1800-R-E-V-E-R-S-E'
To access 1800 Reverse to make a reverse charge call, just grab your mobile (even if you're out of credit on Telstra, Optus or Virgin prepaid), get to a payphone, or pick-up your home phone. Simply dial the numbers '1800'...followed with the numerals that spell REVERSE on your keypad. So that's just 1800 7-3-8-3-7-7-3

2. ENTER THE MOBILE OR HOME PHONE NUMBER YOU WISH TO CALL
After dialling 1800 R-E-V-E-R-S-E, you'll be connected to our automated system. You'll hear a female voice say:
"Welcome to 1800 Reverse. Please enter the home or mobile number you wish to call."
After the prompt, simply enter the phone number of the person you wish to call. The number can be a mobile or home phone. If you are calling a home phone, be sure to include the area code in-front of the number (eg. 02 for Sydney).

3. RECORD YOUR NAME SO THE PERSON YOU'RE CALLING KNOWS IT'S YOU
After you've entered the phone number you want to call, you'll be asked:
“Say your name, after the tone...”
After the tone, record your name. It's important to say your name clearly as we'll play this to the person you're calling so they knows it's you. 

4. WAIT ON THE LINE WHILE YOUR CALL IS ATTEMPTED
After recording your name you'll be placed on hold, while we call the number you entered. If the person answering accepts the charges, you'll be connected after hearing:
"Your call is connected..."
