PRICE TO RECEIVE A CALL ON A HOME PHONE
There is no charge if the call is not connected, or if the person receiving the call chooses not to accept the call and the charges. All 1800 Reverse reverse charge calls accepted on a home phone are charged to the regular telephone account.
All 1800 Reverse calls to home phones are charged a call connection fee, and a call talktime charge. The connection fee is $4.25, and the call talktime charge depends on the whether the call is coming from a mobile, or the location of the caller if it's coming from a fixed line. All calls from fixed lines to fixed lines are charged at either a Home Area rate, a Community Call rate or Long Distance rate.
If the person making the call is unable to have their call connected and instead leaves a reverse charge message, the receiver of the message will be charged $5.40 if they choose to receive the recorded message and have it played to them.
